Anywho-

So here is the lo down. I am working diligently at work, and even more diligently at cosplay for Katsu which is why I haven't gotten much done. I am a brave soul- so I will be cosplaying Nurse Joy from Pokemon with my little Pokemon Crew (Pikachu, Bulbasaur, JigglyPuff, PiiChu, PsycDuck, Mew!)

On Friday I am going to fanfiction panels with Dakar dressed up as GW characters. ^___^ Oh yes, it is going to be extra frightening!

So I am doing Quatre. Because Wu Fei's pants scare me, I am not skinny enough for Trowa and Heero- OH HELL NO.

Dakar wants to do Duo which is fine and dandy (has the hair anyway...).

So here comes the costume mayhem.




1. Ordered Quiddich (HP) goggles. - closest thing to Quatre's that were cheap.

2. Looking for brown cape with hood. (Going Maguanac at this one. ^___~) Considering the Jedi one for
good measure.

3. Need Ugly Pants with Belt

6. Need Brown Penny Loafers (size 9)

7. Need multipurpose NICE blond wig (will hit Flair Wig tomorrow afternoon) - must be able to use
for Link costume for halloween as well.

Sometimes I do.

So things have been uneventful, which leads me to believe that soon things will explode in horror and terror beyond anything I could ever imagine. The calm before the storm, as it were. That is how my life seems to work. See? Was completely quiet a second ago, and now that I am writing the room has been filled with screams and anger.

I can ignore it for a bit. She'll have to just deal.

My life has fallen into a state of routine, something I plan to fight. I don't know how, but eventually I will cause my own new brand of chaos. Then that chaos will become routine, and I'll get stir crazy all over again.

It has been quiet. No parties (except for that last hangover a few weeks ago) and no drama. Well, except for the drama my friends have. Apparently I am a good source for people to rant. While I don't mind, I can't always shake the disappointment that my brilliant well thought out advice falls on deaf ears. Nobody ever heeds it, but that isn't anything new.

Well so much for writing a post, once again I have to drop everything to service someone else. The only consolation I have is that eventually it will all pay off.

I've noticed there is never anything to write about when things are going bad, and when I come back to look at this I go "wow, my life sucks" when really it only does in intervals. Things are getting better, and fine, and awesome. I DO however, need to get rid of some of my LJ friends and comms because it is littered with nothing but MerlinxArthur fandom, which is hard to weed through to see what I really care about - friend posts and the occasional GW pop post. *nods* Will do that when I have a chance.

Right now I am taking a break from training to write something under the guise of "research". I am a genius, I tell you. For the past 2 weeks I have been training non-stop for my vacation. Sucks, huh, how when I go out of town I am the one saddled with making sure there is someone to take my place. It isn't too bad, though. I am able to enjoy the company of another professional for a short time, as well as bestow my knowledge upon someone else to make them more comfortable in working with Vents and pediatric acute clients. *pant* But it is hard to have down time, because I am required to be "on" and "working" the whole time and being on facebook isn't considered working... Oh well.

It was in the 70's yesterday. Seriously, it was really nice. Cleaned my car, took Dex for a walk with his new harness (It is black houndstooth, so chic...) and played some of my new KH DS game. I forgot how much I miss Kingdom Hearts... :/

That is about it, I got out of town in 10 days! *salutes* And I can't wait for snow, and snow mobiling, and yummy food, and playing piano at my parent's house (the acoustics is amazing in that dining area...) and the lake will be nearly frozen by then! ^___^ I can't wait to squeeze Farfarello and Magic and Porsche, and play Wii with my sister and parents. I need this break, and to get away from the ghetto traffic-congested crime hole that is my city.

So Neko came and went. Meh... I spent more time waiting in line for things than doing anything else, but that always happens at cons. It was fine, but because Laura didn't go I didn't really cosplay much of anything. Didn't want to pull the Meowth untl she was there and we had the group, so it was sort of boring as far as that went. No pics. I didn't feel like taking any. Saw Suicide Ali (http://www.suicide-ali.com/) in concert and they were awesome. I am not so into Jrock anymore (more into KPOP than anything honestly) but they were good to see. Their sound was remniscent of the oldschool jrock I used to adore and Kozi is super cute. I think he made a great new addition to the band. ^___^;

No rave, didn't drink, and no buys at the vending room. Sersiously my life is so anti-climactic. I am behind on my NaNoWriMo entry but whatever. ^___^; Should get started on that soon, will be doing overtime at work now to try and accumulate more money so I can comfortably take a week off to see my parents in NY for Christmas.

Got a Charlie Brown christmas tree this year. It is so sad looking.

Dexter is doing great. He dug his first hole the other day. Like only his bottom was sticking out it was so deep, the little brat!

Made a couple of new friends through Neko, but am really looking forward to KatsuCon. ^___^;; And hopefully better panels.. *sighu* Seriously...

I miss writing. Maybe I should try out for some online RPGs... *thinkering* I have lots of free time all of a sudden.

I think my life online is over. O__O I don't talk to anyone anymore, and my writing has all but come to a halt. I go through spurts of creativity but lately I have nothing as far as writing it concerned. Just crafty inclinations, which are often emptied out through finishing costumes and making trivial items for friends and family.

^^ Next week is gonna be long, waiting for Neko Con. Have a few things to finish, have come plans, and am glad that we pulled out of the panel work - Laura isn't gonna be there this year. :( Baah.

Hopefully I'll see some friends there! ^__^

Okay so things are fine. I think, I dunno. I don't have anything relevant to blog about lately. I haven't written a lick of anything in some time, and have been insanely busy with life as we know it. I also have been working out again, running with Dexter, and generally trying to get my figure back. Oh well. ^___^;; I have almost completed my Maneki Neko costume for Neko Con. *noddies* I can't wait, it is going to be great. I didn't get that Friday off of work, though, which I guess is just as well. I should probably work as much as I can so I can buy lots of goodies in the Bazaar.

My parents came to visit, which was pretty awesome. We did a lot of shopping, and yet somehow I managed not to buy a thing. I am shopped out I think. Oh well...

I have no idea what I am going to write about for NaNoWriMo. Seriously. Not that I ever know what I am going to write when I start writing anything. For some reason the super-planner in me hasn't translated over to the "author" version 2.0. Whatev.

I am fighting a cold. I just know it. My body feels weak but I have no symptoms. I have a pretty resilient immune system. My BF has had the cold and a flu and I have yet to have much of anything aside from a sniffle and the occasional headache. *nod*

This weekend was pretty cool. Went and saw "Where the Wild Things Are" with some friends and... uhm... yeah. :/ I won't put my 2 cents here, just be warned: Dark dark dark and utterly boring. *shrug* Not that I ever cared for the children's book anyway.

Went to the Outlet Mall with Oms for a while on Saturday and spent $3.20 (that is three whole dollars) on two small bottles of hand sanitizer. Can you believe it? With all of the Oakley and Coach and Burberry and Lucky and BeBe in that whole place I only managed three bucks at Bath and Body Works. Seriously, I think I AM broken. *sighhh*

Went to P.A.G. (the arcade we used to hang out at back in the day) for the first time in forever to play Beatmania: The Final. SO OLD. Omigawd, I couldn't believe the 8-bit of Candy (Star) and Twin-Bee! *cackles* At least I could pass all of the songs on normal mode. Yay for 5-key!

I also played Pump it UP for the first time in a long time and didn't realize that some of my favorite artists (excluding those obnoxious Wonder Girls) were on that mix. So needless to say I was pleasantly surprised to hear my super kawaii love on my life Korean-boy G.D. on that mix. ^___^;; Muahahaahaa!

I bought some super soft pink and fuzzy memory foam slippers to wear here at work. It beats wandering around barefoot or in socks. SO COMFY, I think a little TOO comfy. O__O; My job is too damn easy. I need to get a new one...

Yesterday I worked a couple of overtime hours in the afternoon, stopped by P.A.G. again to play a few games of Pump and Guitar Hero with Fei and then hit WalMart for the length of a Bible to get some "needed" supplies with included a 100.00 worth of junk. Which redeemed my lack of spending at the Outlets on Saturday. Unfortunately most of the junk was grocery related, or cleaning products of the house. Bleh. WALMART sports bras 3 for 10 bucks. Seriously. SERIOUSLY! I love you, you big evil monopoizing conglomerate. ^___~

I think my parents are going ot be in town today or tonight. I can't remember what they said it was gonna be. It will be nice to see them for a couple of days- unfortunately I couldn't manage to get out of work so my time with them is limited to between 5pm and 10 pm (my beddy time...) *siiiiighu* Maybe I'll fake sick, or maybe I'll get "lucky" and the BF will infect me with his sickly overdramatic man illness.
